Discover Stage
Typography is the art and technique of arranging type to make written language legible, readable, and appealing when displayed. Ex: Roman, Black letter, Caslon. I need to know the history about it and other typeface. We got a video from youtube that you should use and other sources from google.
Define Stage
We are trying to create our own typeface that are unique. A typeface without any curves, use shapes like rectangle, squares and triangles, also straight lines. My own typeface, with a artist statement.
Design Stage
Develop Stage
For this project we will need graph paper to start off then a sheet of brittle to make our final piece, after that micron pens for when we finish and its time for inking. Making some of the letters with my design was difficult for me to create because of the shape I was using.
Deliver Stage
Yes my typeface has no curves it and I made my typeface with two shapes a rectangle and a triangle and all my lines are straight and neat. Yes I have artist statement ready and my typeface is finished. I really like my design and think its unique so I’m wouldn’t change anything.
